Solgar Betaine Hydrochloride with Pepsin contains the gastric acidifier Betaine Hydrochloride with Pepsin, an enzyme which breaks down proteins.

Digestion and absorption of nutrients are important functions of the body to remain healthy and to support general well-being. In order to receive all the benefits from the foods consumed, the digestive system needs to breakdown carbohydrates, proteins and fats into molecules so they can enter the body’s circulation. Directions for use

As a food supplement for adults, one (1) tablet with a meal to a maximum of three (3) tablets per day, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Tablets should be swallowed with water. DO NOT CHEW.
